Cantu's Mexican Imports is on S. 1st at Elizabeth and has a mural on a wall that faces North. It is an interactive, fortune-telling mural entitled Two Lovers and uses smart-tag technology to turn the painting into a new type of magic-8 ball. Bottle House Gallery
The Bottle House Gallery is located inside the Susan Manyard mosaic house which is a stop on the “Yardist Art Tour” (http://www.austinartyards.com/yards.htm)
Susan Maynard lovingly assembled, with the help of Chris Green and Vince Hanneman, this beautifully mosaiced bottle house next to what used to be the Spunky Monkey, an early Austin art yard environment (remants of which can still be seen next door....). The house, located toward the back of the property, is now used as a studio.
The Gallery will also feature 5 other artists.

Glenn Herbert Davis is an interdisciplinary artist, performer and educator currently living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His creative pursuits have incorporated nearly all media, including performance, with concentrations in photography, wood implements / furniture / buildings, and large-scale installation. Davis' work is generally focused around issues of the physical (human) body and the (contrived) systems to which it is subject.
Mr. Davis will be using sediment collections he's made over the past 7 years; dog hair, dust, bullet casings, pulled screws and nails, found screws and rusty nails, etc, incorporated into a "working" environment that he'll occupy and modify for the opening; a kind of machine shop.

Somnio's Cafe will have a community painting setup in the backyard around 3pm. Come leave your mark. Our previous community painting is hanging on the fence. BYO and have some yummy local home cooking too!
South Austin Gallery
We have a couple of artist all different mediums under tents in the parking lot and inside. We may have live music on our deck as well. I will also be doing free on the spot photo booth with the photos uploaded to facebook.
